Sony has just announced that movies will soon be available for the PSP in the portables UMD format. Prices of movies will range from $19.95 to $28.95 in the US.Titles mentioned so far include:
- Flying Daggers
- Final Fantasy VII
- Apocolypse
- Resident Evil
- Once upon a time in Mexico
- XXX
The platform holder plans to charge $28.95 or thereabouts for new films released on UMD at the same time as their respective DVDs, but will only charge $19.95 for films that have already been released.
