Sony have announced 1 September as the official launch date for the PlayStation Portable in Europe; it will be priced €249 (£179), and early buyers will get a free copy of Spider-Man 2 in UMD format if they register the handheld and order the movie through YourPSP.com.The €249 will buy customers a PlayStation Portable Value Pack:
