Prince Of Persia Makes A 3rd Splash - 26.4.05

According to an article on Ferrago Ubisoft has officially announced the development of Prince of Persia 3. The 3rd installment of the poplular 3rd Person Action/Adventure series will be showcased at next month's E3 and a release date is expected later this year on PS2, Xbox, GameCube and PC.

The 3rd installment will reportedly feature 2 playable characters and new game styles.

Before we learn more at the full LA unveiling, we can also report that the new Prince adventure will feature two playable characters, with unique styles of combat and powers. New abilities - including some related to time - will be there for the mastering, whilst the new Babylonian setting certainly sounds vivid. Finally, a better-than-ever blend of puzzles, combat and plot is promised. More on this soon.

My only beef with Sands of Time and Warrior Within were that the controls seemed very awkward for the PC. I Hope they will opt for a different strategy this time around as other than a few small glitches it is a really promising game/series.
