An article in The New York Times reports on a new liquid-crystal display unit that can be fitted to the PS2. This will allow gamers to take the PS2 with them on long car journeys to play their favourite games (as long as they're not the driver)The display which carries the name "Game Glass" measures 7 inches diagonally and attaches to the PlayStation 2 with thumbscrews and is reported to be selling for $140 Dollars on the U.S.
Because the PlayStation 2 does not have its own power source, playing it in the car requires an adapter for the auxiliary power socket. Pelican encloses a coupon with the Game Glass to get an adapter for $4.95, the cost of shipping and handling.
