Eurogamer have the news that Microsoft are planning a European event to showcase the XBox and XBox 360 line-up.Called the X events, European media were given an early glimpse of the original XBox at X01 back in 2002 while at the later X02 and X03 events the media were shown previews of upcoming games for the XBox.
There wasn't an X04, but X05 is planned due to the XBox 360's release:
As yet, it's not known where or when X05 will be held, or whether an equivalent event will run in other territories. However, it should be noted that the X events have played host to some fairly significant announcements in the past - most notably the acquisition of UK developer Rare in 2002 - and as such, expectations for this year's event will undoubtedly run high.
