On the eve of E3, Ubisoft has released nine new screenshots on Heroes of Might & Magic V. Developed by Nival Interactive (Blitzkrieg, Silent Storm), the latest installment in the succesful Might & Magic universe will still be a turn-based strategy game with RPG elements, tactical combat, different factions, and a story-driven campaign mode. The graphics will be overhauled completely, however, casting aside its former 2D look in favour of modern 3D graphics. More details are likely to be revealed tomorrow when the game is showcased at E3. Ubisoft hasn't been too specific about the game's release date, the only indication being "in early 2006" (who said "when it's done"?).
By the way, you can keep track of Ubisoft's E3 line-up on the newly hosted E3 website.
