New screenshots and concept art for Vietcong 2 have been released at E3.
The FPS sequel will feature a new 3D game engine, and will let players see the Vietnam war from the perspective of both sides.
In the American role, you are an army captain escorting a reporter covering the Tet festivities in the city of Hue in 1968 just as the Tet Offensive occurs, and eventually you take part in the final push to reclaim the Imperial Palace and the city of Hue.
Meanwhile in the Vietcong role, you play as a young conscript fighting against the South Vietnamese army in the areas around his village, eventually becoming a Sergeant in the Hue uprising and storming the Imperial Palace.
Vietcong 2 is due to be released this year for the PC.
