Word coming in from Gamespot is that they have received conformation from VU Games that Scarface: The World is Yours has been delayed. According to the article VU say the game will not be ready until 2006.VU did not specify a date or even a Season and although earlier reports suggested that it would be available on all consoles, there is still a few questions left unanswered as to the availability of the game across every platform, bar the Xbox 360
Speaking of platforms, VU Games also revealed that Scarface: The World is Yours will now also see a release on next-generation consoles in 2006. Later, a rep for the company confirmed it would be "an Xbox 2 SKU," but would say nothing of any other next-gen versions.
Like the film, Scarface: The World is Yours follows the criminal undertakings of Cuban-immigrant-turned-cocaine baron Tony Montana. Al Pacino played Montana in the film, and the game will feature the Oscar-winning actor's likeness, but not his vocal talent. Pacino's costars, Robert Loggia and Steven Bauer, will also lend their likenesses as well as their voices to the game. GameSpot's previous coverage has more information.
