The banning comes amid a wave of cheating and hacking to gain status in the online RTS, which the company says it will not tolerate.Most of the aforementioned accounts were closed due to reported hacking or cheating during a WarCraft III multiplayer session. 8,168 of the accounts have also been banned from ladder play for one month, whereas only 3,331 were permanently removed.
