Licensing Director for Wallaroo, Stefan Heinemann in an interview with gamesindusty.biz has confirmed that ringtone character Crazy Frog will be appearing in his very own videogame.According to the interview, Crazy Frog's latest endeavour will come in the form of a racing game slated for release this Christmas on PC, PS2 and GBA.
It's still unclear as to who is going to be the publisher of the PC and PS2 versions but according to Wallaroo, an announcement will be made next week.
"It will definitely be a game that's cool, but also annoying, just like the Crazy Frog," he said. "It's going to be a lot of fun."
The Crazy Frog has become a European-wide phenomenon in recent weeks, selling millions of ringtones and mobile graphics and topping the singles charts across the continent.
German software publisher DTP has signed up to produce the game on GBA, with CEO Thomas Baur commenting: "The Crazy Frog is one of the most popular licenses of today's entertainment market. It is an exciting project to apply all our developing and publishing experience."
