Cryptic Site Hints at Online Sonic Game - 7.6.05

It is most likely a very cryptic hoax, but an unlikely place might hold information about a new online role playing game based on Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sega fans have uncovered the website of tech firm Panovation, whose page displays a simple message: *hint* We have partial information of our announcement located somewhere on this website. Can you find it?

Closer inspection leads visitors to view the source code of the page, which includes a lot of Sonic-related phrases stuffed into the keywords for the site.

Further, Spong.com discovered another page on the site that specifically announces a "Sonic ORPG":

Upon further investigation, a test page can be found, with the image included with this news story. As well as having a 'Guess Who?' button clearly showing the face of Dr Eggman, the news section reads “Sonic ORPG Announced!”

When contacted this morning, Sega had no comment on the situation at all.

Sonic the Hedgehog Online RPG to be Announced?

Sega have since denied any plans for a Sonic Online game, though refused to comment on why Panovation had hints to that effect on their site or give any further information.
