EQII The Splitpaw Saga Released - 30.6.05

Sony Online Entertainment have released The Splitpaw Saga, the second in a series of Adventure Packs for EverQuest II.

The Splitpaw Saga gives players hours of extra story-rich content as they battle through two massive new dungeons, and 12 event-based levels. The pack also introduces a new breed of enemy for players to defeat:

In The Splitpaw Saga, players will explore the collapsed caverns and twisted tunnels of Sundered Splitpaw. Throughout this adventure, the truth behind the dungeon's mysterious demise is uncovered by using moveable planks, crates and barrels to work through a series of 12 intriguing event-based zones. A ferocious clan of cannibalistic gnolls will stand in the way as players seek to destroy the greatest threat yet in Norrath's history of late. New and veteran players alike can experience the adventure meeting fresh challenges as they progress and try again as the encounters scale dynamically to match the player's level.

The Splitpaw Saga is available to buy on the official website for $7.99, and is the second Adventure Pack to be released after the March release of The Bloodline Chronicles.

SOE plan to release between two and four new EQII adventure packs per year as part of a strategy announced in January.
