Looks like Microsoft finally got their way in Hollywood. Among others, Kotaku reports that Microsoft is about to conclude a deal with Universal and Fox to produce a movie based on the highly successful Halo series. Negotiations with other studios failed because of high production costs and Microsoft's fussy control policy. Universal and Fox may now share production costs equally, with Universal likely to assume distribution in the US and Fox for the rest of the world.Related info:
