According to recent reports, Capcom's survival horror Resident Evil 4 has sold more than 500,000 copies in the US and Canada since its release in January. Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero are the top selling titles on Nintendo's GameCube, with combined North American sales of over 1.5 million.With Resident Evil 4, the series and the entire survival horror genre have been advanced to a whole new level.
