Just when you thought the Grand Theft Auto franchise was the most controversial set of games, along comes 25 To Life. The game has not even been released and it is already coming under fire by critics who are describing the game as a new low.Players earn points by pretending to kill cops while using human shields for protection. The game can also be switched around for you to experience the game from the other side, through the eyes of the law.
US Senator, Charles Schumer says that stores should not sell the game. He even took aim at Microsoft and Sony who he believes should not even license the game. Schumer describes 25 To Life as nothing more than glorified cop-killing.
"25 To Life" isn't in stores yet. And if Schumer and law enforcement officials have their way, it won't be.
