Vin Diesel has been signed up to star in a movie based on the Eidos games franchise Hitman.Fox was the studio behind the deal, and it will be their second major games industry-related signing within a week after they concluded a deal with Universal to produce the Halo movie for Microsoft.
Chuck Gordon and Adrian Askarieh will produce the Hitman movie, while Diesel will also take on the executive producer job.

The hit game franchise is set to continue when Hitman: Bloodmoney is released for PS2, Xbox and PC this summer.
