With online games now reaching a more sophisticated stage, both in terms of technology and public attention, the online gaming market seems to appeal to an increasing number of publishers. Codemasters wants to claim its share of the market and announced today the formation of Codmasters Online Gaming. The new division's director, David Solari, comments the online group's goals in an official press release:"The Online Group has been assigned a significant investment to drive our plans in this major growth area of the business. Codemasters has a very serious interest in online gaming and one that covers a broad scope, with titles and initiatives that will target the core and casual online gamer."
So far, Codemasters hasn't disclosed any titles that could do the trick, but more details are likely to surface in the weeks ahead.Related info:
