The latest Steam news gives an update on the status of Day of Defeat: Source and Half-Life 2: The Lost Coast.
Valve had previously said DoD: Source was lined up for an early spring release, but now have it chalked up for a release later in the summer. They also reveal it is being play-tested as we speak at the Valve offices, and mention some of the new features: namely a new grenade stun-effect and the ability to deploy the machine gun on any surface.
The company also use the update to announce that the Half-Life 2 level The Lost Coast is nearing completion and will be released "soon".
