Mc Donalds are this week enticing their customers to play an instant-win game with the promise of winning a Sony PSP. All you need do is find a winning code on a Big Mac or fry box, once you find the code you then (after paying for your meal) need to get your ass to the nearest Internet access point and input your code to a website to see if you are one of the lucky PSP recipients, or just the winner of one of the other 50,000 smaller, suckier prizes.The system, nicknamed PSP, plays videogames, movies and music. Codes on Big Mac and fry boxes send players online to see if they win a system or one of 50,000 smaller PlayStation prizes. Arc Worldwide, Chicago, handles.
The Sony promo follows on the heels of an on-pack game for Big Mac that dangled a grand prize of 10 concerts at any House of Blues club in 10 cities. (Diners entered codes from Big Mac boxes online or via text message.) The Marketing Store Worldwide, Oak Brook, IL, handled that effort.
