NGC Magazine is the source of a new rumour that Capcom plan to port the original Resident Evil to the Nintendo DS.According to the magazine, the DS version will be a full 3D remake of the 1997 classic, but will utilize the camera system and controls of Resident Evil 4 for the GameCube. The DS touchscreen will also be used for movement and combat.
Since the story emerged, Capcom have said "we're not sure where NGC got their information from", but have declined to confirm or deny the rumour so far.
