A demo of Prison Tycoon has been released, the sim where you have to build the ultimate correctional facility. In the game, you build a low-security prison from the ground-up, gradually upgrading to maximum-security for the world's most dangerous criminals. You have to break up inmate fights and keep up prisoner morale by providing them with activities, while taking care of issues such as giving time-off for good behaviour and hiring the prison staff. The demo allows full access to all of the game features, but includes a sixty-minute time limit:

Too harsh a prison will create a dangerous environment and could spark
prisoner riots. Too lenient an approach will result in rampant gang activity.
