Capcom have announced Resident Evil 5 is in the works for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. No release date is given, and no mention is made of a version for the Nintendo Revolution.There are no further details on the game given in the official announcement, but fans are speculating that Chris Redfield might make a reappearance after a look-alike appeared in a feature on the game in the latest issue of Japanese games mag Famitsu.
More concrete details were also gleaned from the Famitsu article, including the fifth game will keep the over-shoulder-view from Resident Evil 4, and Jun Takeuchi (Street Fighter 2) will act as producer of the game.
