Hot on the heels of the news that Sony have been forced to drop the router functionality from the PS3 because it would be too expensive, it's being reported that Nintendo have plans to produce a router that will allow access to the Nintendo WiFi network from the DS and upcoming Revolution:The router plugs into a USB 2.0 port and transfers your computers internet connection wirelessly into your next-gen Nintendo devices. Nintendo feels this is a easier and better solution than providing an accessory to allow a hardline connection, and I tend to agree.
Details, pricing, and release date have not been announced.
