Vivendi have snapped up the rights to create games based on the books of Robert Ludlum, the author behind the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy.Ludlum had written 21 novels before his death in 2001, though only the Bourne books and Covert One are mentioned in Vivendi's release.
Vivendi say they plan on aggressively pushing Ludlum's creations as game brands, and that they will go head-to-head with the other major spy-action games in the market.
No further details were given, though the release says the novels will inspire "next-generation" games.
