Blizzard's George Wang has nixed rumours that this year's inaugural BlizzCon event will see the unveiling of Diablo 3 or StarCraft 2.Speaking with CNN's Game Over Column, Wang said Blizzard will be showing off a new product, that will be related to World of Warcraft.
It's likely that the product is the expected expansion pack for the monstrously successful MMOG. In June, a post on the official WoW forums revealed that an expansion was in the works, and that Blizzard would make more details available "as soon as we can".
The BlizzCon is due to take place in California on 28th-29th of October; more information on the event is available at Blizzard.com.
