According to an article on the LA Times website, Microsoft has officially announced the pricing schemes for its upcoming Xbox 360 console. The bare-bones package will cost you $299 which will get you the console, cables and 1 wired controller. The $399 flavour will offer your box a 20GB hard-drive, a wireless controller, headset, ethernet cable and also a wireless remote control.So the premium Xbox 360 package weighs in at approximately the same price as Sony's PS3, which is expected to retail for around the same price next year.
