A respected market analyst has revealed the planned European Xbox 360 event will take place in Amsterdam on the 4th and 5th of October this year.Microsoft had announced the X05 event last month, but did not reveal its location. However, P.J. McNealy of American Technologies Research has spilled the beans in a memo sent to investors and the media:
the other big event is expected to be X05 in Amsterdam in early October, where launch titles and hardware are expected to be showcased for developers worldwide.
Microsoft refused to confirm or deny McNealy's claim, saying only "We have not yet confirmed the location".McNealy also wrote of his expectations for the price of the console in the memo, saying that he believed the November launch was on track and that the price will be about $399, with an optional 20GB hard-drive costing an extra $60-$99.
