Even though legendary developer John Carmack gave a thumbs-up to the Xbox 360 as "the best development environment" during his keynote speech at QuakeCon 2005, he has revealed he's also been thinking about a DOOM 3 game for the rival Playstation 3.Computerandvideogames.com report that Carmack mentioned a "super edition" of DOOM 3 for PS3 in an interview in the latest issue of Game Informer magazine. Exactly what the super edition would include is unclear, perhaps some PS3-exclusive content as well the expansion Resurrection of Evil:
One idea we've been sort of tossing around that is just a random idea, is possibly doing some kind of super edition of the Doom 3 stuff for the PS3. It's something that we'd kind of like to do.
