F.E.A.R. Multiplayer Demo for 29 September - 27.9.05

F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon

As promised, Vivendi have announced the multiplayer demo for the upcoming PC shooter F.E.A.R will be released on Thursday, the 29th of September.
The demo will feature two maps (DM Factory and CT Facility) as well as support for 16 players. To download it when it comes available, you must be over 17 years of age and your system must meet the following set of requirements:

· Windows XP, x64 or 2000 with latest service pack installed

• DirectX 9.0c (August Edition) or higher

• Pentium 4 1.7GHz or equivalent processor

• 512MB of RAM or more; 64MB GeForce 4 Ti or Radeon 9000 video card

• Monitor that can display in 4:3 aspect ratio; 5.0GB free Hard Drive Space for installation

• Additional hard drive space for a swap file and saved game files

• 4x CD-ROM drive; 16-bit DirectX 9.0 compliant sound card with support for EAX 2.0

• Broadband or LAN connection for multiplayer games

• Mouse; keyboard

F.E.A.R. MP demo on Gamespot
- Single Player demo

The standard version of F.E.A.R. is set to be released on the 18th of October as well as a U.S.-only Director's Edition containing exclusive content.
