OrigenXbox360.com has finally ceased counting down and the site proper is now open for viewing. Those hoping for a Halo 3 announcement or a full-fledged alternate reality game with an involved storyline like ILoveBees will be disappointed; as it turns out the site is just a fairly lame vehicle for an Xbox 360 contest, replete with a "what gamers say about Xbox 360" testimonials-style page.
The mysterious "Origen" is the U.S. launch party for the Xbox 360, and winning the contest will earn two gamers flights and tickets to the event. The random true-or-false contest questions are probably the only interesting thing about the site because they might reveal some previously unknown factoids. Examples include whether each Xbox 360 will include a secret, built-in racing game, or if the Thanksgiving Parade in New York this year will be led by a giant, inflatable 360.
