To further enforce the idea of the Playstation 3 as an "entertainment supercomputer", Sony have revealed the console will feature 6 USB slots, and will support a keyboard and mouse.Microsoft's Chris Satchell recently revealed that the rival Xbox 360 would allow a keyboard to be plugged in, but only for the purpose of text-input, controlling a game with it won't be possible.
Not so the PS3; a representative has told The Inquirer that gamers will be able to control games like Unreal Tournament 2007 with a mouse and keyboard:
The company representative added that you will be able to play games such as Unreal Tournament 2007 with the keyboard and the mouse. This can mean the end of the auto aiming that you now have on Playstation 2, but I guess that developers will need to make the game fit the controller and keyboard and mouse.
The company also revealed that the console will feature support for up to seven Bluetooth 2.0 wireless controllers, and the PSP will be able to act as a remote control.Playstation 3 supports mouse and keyboard
