When Resident Evil 5 was announced in July, the first thing people picked up on was that there was no mention of a Nintendo Revolution version - unusual since RE4 was originally a GameCube exclusive. Now Cubed3.com is reporting that the game is in development for Revolution, and that the only reason it hasn't been announced yet is purely because the specs and other details of the system have not been made publicly available.
This makes sense since at this stage we don't even know what the Revolution controller looks like, but Joystiq are taking the news with a bit of caution because neither Capcom nor Nintendo have made their own announcement of a Revolution version yet:
One problem with the claim is that he does not mention from whom he heard this story. Another is that the prior claim of Revolution’s hopeful Resident Evil 5 announcement also came from Cubed3. So who knows? We will try to confirm or disprove this as soon and as best as we can. In the meantime, feel free to be hopeful, but do not be surprised if you are let down.
