Primotech have posted up an interview with XBox executive Peter Moore. The interview is fairly short, is in video format and was taken at the recent Digital Life Technology expo in New York. Peter Moore talks about Xbox 360 launch titles, Backwards compatibility with Xbox games, Xbox peripheral compatibility, Online distribution via Xbox Live, larger or external hard drives, and connectivity with Windows PC's.Larger or External USB Drives?
The compatibility with a Windows Media Center system means, theoretically, you can have 200GB+ of space for your new 360. However, there are currently no plans to have an XBOX 360 hard drive that’s bigger than 20GB. It may be implemented several years from now, if such an upgrade is warranted, but for now the team believes that 20GB is more than ample. Files can be transferred and deleted and added just like on a regular PC.
Interesting to hear that they have no plans to release a larger hard drive in the very near future, although not alot of space will be taken by music since you can stream your music from your PC or portable music devices.
