id, Raven and Activision have released a new "Quakemas" multiplayer map pack for Quake IV on the PC.The pack consists of three maps - Railed, which is a close-quarters combat environment designed specifically for tournament play; Tremors, which offers a twisting underground cavern environment for capture-the-flag play; and Campground Redux, a remake of an old Quake III Arena favourite.
The maps can all be downloaded for free on id's website, where we're also informed that much more are on the way in 2006.
