Japanese gamers who possess a special launch package have been able to participate in beta testing of Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox 360 since the 10th of December, but soon U.S. and U.K. gamers will have a chance to get in on the action as well.Future PLC, the U.K. company behind Xbox 360: The Official Xbox Magazine, have announced an exclusive deal with Squenix to bundle the beta on a free disc that will come with the next issue of the magazine.
The issue with the beta disc will be available in the U.S., U.K., France, Italy and Germany from the 5th of January, and participation in the beta will require a hard drive-equipped Xbox 360 and a broadband connection.
