Newcomer Black Bull Studios, a British-based company, has launched its Talaris software engine that will bring console quality 3D graphics and controls to the mobile gaming world.
Phones that use the Symbian and Series 60 operating systems are the targets of the technology with game released in 2006 planned to support Microsoft Mobile and BREW systems, too.
Due to be launched later this month is the exciting first game from Black Bull Studios. A key component of its portfolio is the Talaris™ engine. It enables the ability to generate random environments with exceptional smooth play and has some embedded features such as a novel ‘time reversal’ control with 3D play, something thought never seen before in mobile phone based gaming.
Founding Director of Black Bull Peter Melling, commented, “The new team already has several years of combined experience in the mobile gaming sector. Our technology has enabled us to create a completely new generation of games” and there are high ambitions for Black Bull with a series of challenging smart-phone games scheduled for release throughout this year.
Peter also stated, “We’ve concentrated our efforts on quality 3D gaming and our first titles will be focused towards the traditional action genre. Our plan is to enhance Talaris and offer wireless entertainment to a much wider audience as smart-phones gain market share.”
With an initial focus on U.S., Canadian and European markets, the new brand will be reinforced by the fictional characters that will feature in its coming titles. Resellers are invited to visit the Black Bull Studios website at www.blackbullstudios.com for more information and news of its imminent release schedule.
