Ever wanted to take control of an epic battle in Middle Earth? Thanks to the upcoming release of The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle Earth II, you’ll soon be able to.
Players who can’t wait for the title’s release, can check out a playable demo courtesy of GameSpot. The site has a pretty large demo of EA’s upcoming release. Check it out by clicking here.
The single-player sample lets gamers try out the real-time strategy game’s basic tutorial and skirmish mode on two maps. Two of the three new races can be checked out as well – goblins and dwarves.
The game itself is set to release for the PC on Feb. 28 and will retail for about $50. An Xbox 360 release will come sometime this summer.
