With the time clock ticking on the expected release of the PlayStation 3, gamers around the world are dying for some speck of news about this next-gen console. Any, speck of news.
Kikizo came through with a pretty lengthy preview on the console. According to their report, the hardware’s just about complete, but it doesn’t all fix into the nifty, sleek box Sony officials have had so much fun showing off.
Sounds like there’s still a lot of bugs to work out as well to make the console’s debut go more smoothly than the Xbox 360’s had been to date. On the game play issue, it sounds like Sony’s goal to have movie-quality visuals hasn’t been attained, but that doesn’t mean the picture isn’t awesome.

The PS3 is expected hit stores sometime this Spring. Whether that happens or not, remains to be seen. If gamers are lucky, Sony will take care not to release the console until most, if not all, bugs have been hammered out to avoid an Xbox 360 repeat.
