There’s only a little more than a day left for bidding on the Xbox 360 box with Jesus affixed and eBayers seem to actually be showing some interest.
That’s right. Proving yet again that people will in fact pay for just about anything, folks are actually making bids on the Xbox 360 packaging, complete with a picture of Jesus. That’s one empty box, a picture and some tape people are bidding on, mind you, not the console itself.
As of late Tuesday night, U.S. Eastern time, the box was up to a little more than $15 USD with seven bidders gunning for ownership rights. Keep in mind that’s just a box with a picture. It does sound like the winner of the "divine" auction also gets the rights to possibily buy the console for an undisclosed price, but the auction itself is simply for the box.
On a side note, there’s also a seller offering customized Jesus skins for the original Xbox. With more than 200 vinyl skins in inventory, the seller guarantees his work for nine years against peeling, fading, chipping and scratching. With a guarantee like that, the skins will likely last longer than the average Xbox’s lifespan.

Remember, both links are on eBay, so they’re subject to a sunset for actually working.
