The creators of iTradeVideoGames.com have launched a new site to help fans of anime pass along titles while getting their hands on new ones.

The Canadian-based iTradeAnime.com is online and ready to go. According to a release set to Igniq, the original site was launched to “provide a means for users to sample as many new games as possible, without being gouged by retailer’s obscene used game systems.”

The new site will do the same for those who love anime.

iTradeAnime keeps the playing field level by allowing you to trade your anime at a fair market value. Therefore, if you pick up a newly released dvd and want to try something new a week later, you don't lose all the hard earned equity in the title by trading it in to one of the major retailers; you trade it along to another gamer, just like yourself, who is looking for the exact dvd you have.

iTradeAnime uses an internal currency called the iBuck to process trades between all of its members. The price for each Anime is based on the current market value (based on sophisticated reporting methods) and is geared to give a fair trading advantage for your hard earned dollars.

The concept itself is based off of an easy to use message system, not unlike email, that allows you to communicate with your fellow Animers, become friends with them and ultimately develop a trading community of like-minded individuals who you can continuously perform trades with, all for the low cost of one dollar per trade.
