Fans of Fox’s ‘24’ will soon be able to play an online game based on the popular TV show over their cell phones.
Netimperative is reporting that fans will be able to enter Jack Bauer’s reality and get into the same save-the-world action thanks to an agreement forged between I-play and Fox Mobile Entertainment. No release date is available, but this one sounds pretty cool.
24- The Mobile Game aims to capture the time sensitive nature of the show, with the users’ mobile device acting as portal into the world of the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) made famous in the series.
On participating mobile networks, consumers can buy the forthcoming 24 console game, ringtones and wallpapers in one bundled offer.
David Gosen, acting CEO of I-play, said: “24 - The Mobile Game will blow away mobile gamers and fans of the TV series, which has an enormous following across all age groups and geographies. The combination of storyline and individual missions provides a completely unique gameplay experience which will keep gamers coming back for more.”
