This is great news for gamers who are anxiously awaiting the upcoming release of the Nintendo Revolution. Game developers who had a chance to check the console out “behind closed doors” during the recent Game Developer’s Conference are giving it some high marks.
The console will be very different from the Xbox 360 and PS3, but it will be packed with its own surprises. It’s believed details on the console will be released to the general public (or hopefully so) during May’s E3.
The console is expected to release sometime before the holidays.
Well, the Revolution is a very different platform, and we've actually just seen some things behind closed doors that are just mind-blowing," reported Greg Zeschuk, CEO of BioWare. "Very, very exciting. They're doing something that's very different and unique." Similarly, Pandemic CEO Josh Resnick, while his company hasn't officially announced any Revolution titles in development, is "enthralled" by the sights seen for game developer's eyes only.
