Igniq reader Richard wrote in asking about the list of current gen Xbox games that can be played on the Xbox 360.
The list on the Xbox site is pretty impressive and includes some big-name titles including Dead or Alive 3, the GTA series, the Halo series, a ton of Tom Clancy titles and more. The hitch, though, is the fact some of the games that are listed don’t always work and they will only work for those who have purchased a hard drive. The 360 owner has to download patches to make the old games work.
On the upside, the folks at Microsoft are working out some of the backwards compatibility bugs. While readers have reported some games will lock up with manual saves, they say some work fine if check-point saves are used.

Thanks for the question, Richard. I hope that helps!
