Mob Rule Studios has a brand new indie game on the web just ready for players to check out. The free game takes place in an outer space setting and looks pretty darn addictive.
Although the graphics are low, the turn-based, strategy game allows players a lot of control, which is always a fun thing. Players can create their own armies, construct units, assign crews and more. In this game, players battle each other and computer-controlled bandits on distant and often inhospitable worlds.
The game operates on a free and paid level and is browser based rather than requiring massive downloads. Setting up an account and getting going is pretty darn easy and response times from the registration server should be envied by some of the big gaming companies.
For players who want to go beyond the free play possibilities, currency called “Tinybucks” are available through PayPal purchase. These unlock content and provide a lot of other benefits.
