With over 6 million players and more coming online all the time, World of Warcraft is a behemoth in the online gaming world. Inasmuch, the list of sites that offer mods is also huge.
I did some checking and found a huge selection of mods available on a variety of different sites for this fantasy adventure game. Here’s a bit of what I found:
- The Unofficial WoW UI Site. Billing itself as the WoW Community Mod Site, this location features macros and mods. Its forums provide a place for mod developers to chat as well. Access it by clicking here.
- Curse Gaming offers a big section dedicated to WoW mods. They include interface improvements, functions, raid tools, chat and more. Click here to check it out.
- Games Softpedia has a quick download of the Ometh Mod 10.1. This mod is a 9.23 MB behemoth that actually is a compilation of many mods. It’s meant to enhance gameplay and the look and feel of the overall game. Check it out here.
- WoW Guru has a nice list of UI Mods available along with tons of game information. Check them out here.
- WoW Cosmos UI Mod has been billed as a player favorite. It lets players add extra skill bars, track stats and more. Check it out here.
- File Planet has tons of WoW related downloads including patches and mods. Check this site out by clicking here.
- CapNBry.net has a variety of Add Ons for Wow. They can be viewed by clicking here.
- VGPro offers the nude mod among others. Click here to check it out.
Keep in mind these are just a few of perhaps hundreds of sites offering WoW mods and alterations. Most are designed to make playability more user controlled, but some, as is the case with the nude mod just add to the eye candy. The workability or quality of these mods is not something we can speak to.
