World War II action goes next-gen with Activision’s announcement that Call of Duty 3 will in fact be coming out for the big three – Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3.

This version of the game will have players seeing the action of Normandy through the eyes of several Allied soldiers. The trailer looks fast-pace and up-close-and-personal.
The first-person shooter is a favorite among gamers who love to get into the action and this title is looking like it will shape up to combine the best the next-gen consoles have to offer with a solid big name title from the past.
It’s due out later this year.
