Chromehounds
SEGA’s Xbox 360 exclusive title, Chromehounds, is expected to hit the stores in North America on or about July 11 and already the game is capturing some attention.

With some serious graphics, squad-based multiplayer action and mechs that can be customized, SEGA seems to have the right recipe for dropping some jaws. Although it sounds a bit like PlanetSide with its futuristic war and three “superpower nations fighting for world domination,” the shots on this one look pretty darn impressive and the mechs even cooler.

In the game, players will command their own mechs, dubbed “Hounds,” while working together with squad members to take part in real-time battles over Xbox Live. Gamers can customize their Hounds, too, adding to the coolness factor. There are six basic types of vehicles, including scout, heavy gunner and tactics commander.

While single player games are available to help players hone their skills, it looks like the real fun in this title will come in the multiplayer battles. The sticker price will be about $59.99 in North America.
