Look out gamers, the title that’s created a stir the world over is coming to a console near you this week as the DaVinci Code, the game, rolls out.
The controversial game is based on the movie that’s based on the book by the same name, written by Dan Brown. In it, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon traverses a heavily puzzle-laden mystery that involves religion, ancient conspiracies and more.
The fictional piece (emphasis on fictional here) centers on the idea that Jesus created offspring and one of them still exists in the modern day world. The fictional piece has been taken as something that was meant to be presented as fact. Classes, courses and seminars abound that profess to debunk the book’s assertions. Boycotts of the movie are organizing.
Despite this, gamers will get the chance to try their hand at solving the puzzles when the DaVinci Code comes out this week. The action title is being staggered for release over the week, with its first appearance tomorrow for the PlayStation 2.
Besides this, X-Men for several platforms and Tringo for the Game Boy Advance, releases on post E3 week one are slow. There’s still no new next-gen action either until next week.
