An unedited sampling of Will Wright’s Spore has made its way to YouTube. It seems the highly anticipated title will be shown in its more finished form at E3 this week.
One of the hottest games expected in the coming year, Wright’s Spore will have players creating their own universe from the spore up. The creator of the Sims is more than accustomed to making a good God game and this one is hoped to take that to the next level, offering something gamers have never seen before.
There’s no official word yet on when Spore will be released. Initial plans called for a 2006 release, but it seems like that won’t be happening.
