Vivendi’s Sierra Entertainment is bringing TimeShift to the PC and Xbox 360 later this year. The new first-person shooter title promises to be different than others on the market with some technological features built in to improve game play.
We are very pleased to have secured the rights to the TimeShift franchise,” commented Cindy Cook, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for Vivendi Games. “TimeShift is an excellent addition to our 2006 lineup and one that offers something very different to a lot of other FPS titles on the market today.”
“Saber Interactive’s proprietary Saber3D engine elevates the first-person action genre by melding an epic single-player storyline and mind-blowing multiplayer scenarios with the ability to control time,” said Peter Della Penna, EVP of Worldwide Studios for Vivendi Games. “The ability to alter the game’s ‘time-scape’ results in a fundamentally new gameplay dynamic and intensity.”
